Students were asked to imagine what types of images could represent themselves. We discussed how our names, where we live, and things we like to do or eat, can help explain who we are. We also looked at many examples of family coat of arms and brainstormed what each image could represent about that family. Each child drew their idea on a styrofoam plate, and carefully printed multiples of each plate they created.
